I was commissioned to produce this work as part of Rooted, an exhibition running from 1st–30th May 2026 at The Gardener’s House in Penzance, Cornwall. The project explores how we grow, share, and think about food through fermentation, foraging, and working the land.

Based in West Cornwall, it focuses on local growers and producers and their relationship with the landscape. The work developed through time spent observing, listening, and understanding their day-to-day practices.

These conversations shaped the images, reflecting not just the act of growing food, but the knowledge and care behind it.
